Sorry if this has been hashed out before I couldn't find it.

What is every ones opinion on the VX6 series from leupold?
Has had any experience yet.

Do you think it is worth the price?

Thanks

I think the VX6 is a game changer on several levels. I have 5 now with another on the way. I love the tmoa reticle in the 4-24x52. Just wait till you see the 7-42x56.... If you have any doubts, compare it to a Swaro Z5 at dark. The tracking is spot on in box tests at 300 yards with 3 different models I have tested. I hunt hard with my rifles and have 0 problems or complaints so far. I enjoy the lighter weight as compared to my Nightforce equipped rifles, especially after a long day in the mountains.

when $ allow I would like one for my 6.5-284 I will have about as much into it as the gun.

I have always been a fan of leupolds I just wonder if I should spend money elsewhere.

I just took a look at this scope on their site. Looks pretty nice. I'm wondering if you will be able to install exposed turrets? I'd like to see what's under those caps!

This is a CDS 3-18x44.Iv fitted a MOA dial. I think it offers value in this price bracket. A few dislikes , the long cone on the objective limits mounting postions if your not using a rail, the power ring is very stiff and dialing induces a little cant(ie it dosen't dial in line with the horizontal post)
