20131026_091943.jpg shot a 1000 yard target with my 6 mm cm a couple weeks ago..3 shot group 1 moa above 5 inch sticker was the first group . Then 2 shot group low and right then an awome 2.5 inch 3 shot group right. Then the last time shot group just right was about half moa. Not to shabby for a guy learning this stuff. Iam pretty proud of this target. Gona put it on the wall in the garage..

Very impressive!
I am too just learning this stuff, but from my perspective, you are an excellent student.
Keep up the studying...

Mighty Man

Wind was left to right at about 5 mph . I would shoot wait about 2 minutes then shoot again . Drive down every couple of shoots . Was about 32 degrees that day.

If it would have been a coyote or deer I would have shot over its back by one moa. .with the first group

Timmy, is that a 6CM (Competition Match) or a Creedmoor? What bullet? Your doing well no matter which one it is.

Hi Dgd6mm. It the competion match. Next time iam gona hold for wind . And see how well it does. Thanks for the kind words. Oh I almost forgot 115 vld hunting bullet over 49 grains h1000.

nice job, you keep practicing and get everything calibrated in your ballistics you will be doing real good

When I was shooting 49.0 gr. of H-1000 my 5 shot group at 1000 yards was 6.5" tall, 3.5" wide. I dropped the charge down to 48.7 and next time out to 1000 I shot a 5 and a 10 shot group. Both were just under 4.5". I took off just a touch over 2" of vertical. This is my Tac rifle, 48.7 runs the 115 DTAC at 3153 FPS out of a 27" Krieger. At 49.0 it was 3225 fps.

I have a 6CM 30" BR rifle that at 800 yards my best ten shot group was 2", it is throated with the long reamer. I have not chronoed this rifle but my come ups figure out to be about 3300 FPS. The load in this rifle is 49.0 H-1000 with a 115 DTAC. This 2" group was when I had 1200 rounds down the barrel, Joe says they are just starting to shoot good at that round count.

The Tac Rifle I started shooting it in Feb. '07, it now has 3800+ rounds on it and I checked it at 600 recently and it shot a .4 moa 5 shot group. Not to shabby for 3800 rounds. I have a 28" Lawton barrel chambered in 6CM waiting to screw on. This one has been broke in and Melonited.

I'd say you are learning quite well. Congrats.
