Just a heads up, I know that these things have been kind of hard to find lately. I was actually searching for some 168gr VLD Hunting online when a commercial came on the Pursuit Channel advertising The Extreme Store. On the commercial they mentioned that they carry Berger bullets and that they have most in stock... How fortuitous...

Anyway I went to the website and sure enough they had 21 boxes of 100rd 168gr VLD Hunting (now 20 boxes :D ) and they also have 27 boxes of the 180gr in stock as well.

They also have some .308, .277, 6mm, 6.5mm and the Tactical 250gr .338. Prices are actually pretty decent on top of that. I have no affiliation with them at all, just happened to see the commercial at the exact same time that I was looking for some as I had just finished loading up the last that I had less than 5 minutes earlier.

Just thought I would give a heads up if anyone needs some, I was sure having a hard time finding them. Now I just need to find some H1000 as I just ran out of that as well. gun)

Thanks for posting! I was looking for some 168's and wasn't haunting The Extreme Store. I am now!

Much appreciated

When I was in South Carolina, I went to Sportsmans Warehouse. They had boxes of 500 Bergers, 168 VLD in 7mm, 300 gr OTM .338, and several boxes of Nosler LRAB.

I put my order in at 8:45PM on the 24th and my bullets showed up at 1:00PM on the 27th. I'm in MI, they are in OR.

Pretty good chance I'll be doing business with them again.

Hey varmintH8R, I am in the same boat. Placed my order on Sunday while watching the Cowboys game and they were delivered today. You just cannot beat that kind of service and speed to ship, and I am in Texas. I will absolutely be ordering from them again, when I get exceptional service like that I remember it. And the prices were very good as well.

I am out of H1000, but I have heard that RL-22 works pretty well in 7RM so I think I might just have to load a test group up tonight.

To anyone reading I highly recommend them, that is some lightning fast shipping. In no way was I expecting to have them before I go to our ranch tomorrow evening. :) gun)

This is my first year using Hesse bullets. Shot them in my 6.5-284. First deer was a 9 pt and wow. What a hole they made. It was a very steep shot angle downwards, the bullet exited right where the white of a Deers belly meets the brown sides. The deer ran 20 yards before going down and when I went to recover the animal 75% of the Deers internals had fallen out through the exit hole.

Yea, they certainly did what they were supposed to do on that doe. I still have some work to do with them once I get some H1000 again, but so far I am impressed...
