For Sale:

6.5x47 Lapua
Stiller Tac-30 A/W short action
Krieger 26" SS MTU 1:8, just broke in and load developed with less than 40 rds.
AICS 2.0 folding stock chassis, 2 5-rd mags
Jewel trigger
Stiller 20 moa scope base
TPS alum 30mm rings
Harrell brake

Storm iM3300 hard case

Basically, a new, Turn-Key, LR sniper/tactical rifle, ready to go. I used the Audette method to develop the load for the 130 VLD/H4350/CCI450 running 2830 fps. I did a partial load develop for the 140 Hybrid and was getting better than .5 moa. Groups were tested out to 660 yds with 1st hits to 1482 yds.

$5700 + actual shipping via UPS ground.

I can also throw in the 100 fired cases, MTM ammo box with a large % of the 100 cases loaded with the 130 VLD.

I have this listed on other sites as well. First public "I'll take it" followed up by a PM will take it. I accept checks (appropriate time to allow check clearance), MO and PayPal with 3% added.

Sorry for the out of focus pic.

Shot Saturday, 2 Nov 2013.

Cole,

The rifle is not mine. A friend who has more money than solid commitment making skills asked me to help him get a rifle, just like mine, built so he could shoot sniper tactical matches with me. I did just that, breaking in the barrel and developing the load myself for him. He's only shot it about 1 dozen shots then after a few months decided he'd rather focus his time to shoot other stuff; AR's and 1911's. So, he asked me to sell it. I can part it out as I have a buyer for the scope.

The rifle, w/o the bipod but with a 5-rd mag weighs 17 lb 4 oz; IIRC.

The rifle, base and rings, case, two mags, for $3800 plus actual shipping in the case. I'd hate to ship that thing in nothing but that case.

Thanks for the quick response Alan. Idaho law requires that you don't hunt with anything over 16 pounds..... needless to say that's over the limit.

Thanks, hope it sells quick. It looks like a tack driver.

Cole,

I understand. Wasn't something like Idaho hunters driving around with M2 50 Cal guns mounted in the back of trucks, driving the mountain roads and taking long shots at elk a looooong way away? Thus the 16 lb weight limit.

If I had the money, I'd sell mine, just like this one, and keep my friends. I've got 1800+ through mine and it's still shooting great. I've taken 27th, 9th, 5th and 1st in the Utah State Sniper Shoot with mine.

Ya the law was written to prevent the use of the 50 BMG from that kind of use.... but even great shooters like Dan Lilja in Montana had a hand in this type of ELR shooting, although he used a bench mounted 50 caliber bolt action rifle. I can hardly blame him for using a shooting bench since it helps from crippling game animals at those extreme distances.

Even my own choice came down to a Sako TRG-42 338 LM so I was below that weight limit, which is a few ounces just below that with the Bipod.

Phew Thanks for saving me some money Alan... I thought the top Ramen dinner plan may have to be extended indefinitely...
