Called local powder man. They are out of Varget and of H1000 also. Shipment coming in the end of the month...but no Varget even listed on it!

Good thing not too many ground hogs out when its snowing!!!

Powder shortage pretty much canceled whistle pigs this spring. Actually the lack of mass 22 lr killed that.

Funny, my next project was inspired via the powder and components available.

Ironically powder and ammunition shortages only upside is that my ages pastimes get far more air time. Begrudgingly admit the lack of powder has been good for my marriage....

I am lucky, there is a smaller gun store near me that still has a pretty good selection. Was able to get to H1000 and RL-22 the other day. All of the big guys are picked over though...

I stopped at a hardware store in a small town that showed having a sporting goods section according to my online search. I was lucky to get an 8 lb jug of H1000 but no luck on any H4350

Still a great day, I was almost out of H1000

Im aiming for an 8 pounder of Varget and 1 lb cans of other assorted powders. It will get here someday..

When you find 8lb'ers of Varget and H1000 please let me know ASAP! Also, if you find any 8lb jugs of IMR 7828 SSC, which is what I plan on using for my .280 AI and .25-06 AI. Also for my .22 wildcat I'm working on.
