I wasn't happy with the way it was shooting 1.25" -1.5" at 100 yards with a bunch of different factory ammo.
I had Jerry (J E Custom) tune it up for me. I also had him install on of his muzzle brakes as the factory one didn't seem to help the pounding much.

What a difference in how it shoots and on the recoil now.

I took it out while I was sighting in my muzzleloader for an upcoming hunt and tried the same WBY factory 180 grain X-Bullet ammo that shot 1.5" before and shot less than 1/2 MOA on 3 3 shot groups in a row.

I cant wait to try some handloads through it and see what I can get it to do at long range now.

Thanks again Jerry for the great job, fast turnaround and great advice.

Trigger, bed, true action/bolt

Thanks Rich.

I love it when a plan comes together. After tuning your brake it went from 37.8 Ft/lbs of
recoil to 11. 3 Ft/lbs of Recoil with the 210 Berger's loaded to max.

The big 30s respond well to the tuning The brake for a specific load.

+1! You're too modest ... and following the rules of engagement

Folks, that's some serious recoil reduction there ... just saying! lightbulb

Thank you also ED.

Just to let you and some of the folks on this website know, I will be posting the latest video
that will confirm those numbers in about a week.

I have tested some other brakes to see if they could be improved buy tuning and only found one that showed any improvement (Less than 5 %) because of it's design).

There are some downsides to tuning (No free ride) and I will address/clarify those on the video.

Thanks again
