I shoot the Hornady 117gr BTSP. Changed up from the SST. Havent had an issue with them. I hunt with an Encore 26" BBL.

I have shot Barnes Vortx 100 gr. out of a Tikka for a little over a yr now. gave me my best results out to 400 as far as fatory ammo goes.

I like the Hornady superformance ammo with the GMX bullet
with that said just because I and my rifle like that round doesn't mean you or your rifle will

Thanks Everyone for your help. I think I'm going to start with the Barnes 100gr TTSX and see what that does for me, I'll end up reloading soon, I just need something for this years Deer Hunt.

I would take a long look at Winchester combined tech ballistic tip. These things are amazing I reload this bullet in my 257 wby but the Winchester shoot so good in 243 and 25-06 I wont reload for them. Good luck.

This. I've had excellent results with Winchester 115gr. CBT's as well. I don't reload for 25-06 either because the things shoot so well out of my rifle.
I like any of the Federal Ballistic Tips.

the one and only factory ammo i've shot from my 25-06 was federal fusions and they shot very well

I shoot the HSM loaded with the 115gr Berger. So far it has done very well but from what I have learned on this site some rifles will shoot Bergers and some wont.gun)
