Just picked it up last night and thought I'd share some quick photos. First the details

XP-100 action
Benchmark 18" 1-9 twist heavy bull barrel chambered in 284 win
Mcree stock
Jewel trigger
And I forgot what nMe the smith told me for the brake

The scope is just a throw on so I can play with the handgun. I plan on a night force soon. Also, looks like I can use low rings instead of medium. As for how she shoots I dunno, fingers are crossed. I'll start a barrel break in tomorrow and hopefully do a load work up the following day. I gotta give Ernie credit for this one. I always wanted to do something to my XP but wasn't sure what until I saw one of his. Thanks for the idea and sorry I stole it:D

Thanks guys. The black stock is temporary. At some point I'm going to dip it in atac camo. And I do think its a shooter I did half my barrel break in last night. I used some old Hornady 139gr bullets just to use them up. I plan on using Berger 168 for my load development. Anyway I am excited. The first three shots are almost in the same hole at 100 yards. I can't wait to see what I can do when I actually try to develops a load. I only got 10 rounds through it before dark but they were all in there. I only got a pic of the first three.

That's an APA Fat Bastard break with the rear contoured down to match your barrel od. I have one on my .338 long gun and a little jimmy (same but think smaller) for my .260 xp build.
Very fine looking shooter!! and a shooter it is too!!!!

Nice Gun! Excellent shooting!

What scope base do you have on there? I've been looking for one similar for my XP.

Thanks.
Rog

It's a ken ferral scope base 20 moa. I had a hard time finding one myself except for the cheaper ones. Sorry it took so long to respond I've been swamped and haven't had time to get on.

Thanks I've been loving it. Took it out to about 720 this last weekend and it performed well. It is quickly becoming my favorite gun in the safe
