I am considering having a 338 edge built out of a mark V action.
The magazine is 3.750 and was wondering if they make a longer one?
Would also like to know if Mc Millan stock is the way to go. They seem on the high price side but want a good rifle.

I am building a 338 Edge from a German Mark V.

Bottom metal from: Weatherby DBM Mark V
Bell and Carlson Tactical Medalist stock.
Bartlien barrel

Check this also: Weatherby Magnum action options

I have dummy rounds at 3.75 and they fit.

I'd like longer but don't know how bullets will seat yet.

I have the reamer.

That should leave roughly .900 of bullet left sticking out if you want them to feed through the magazine.
Single shot with the cutaway on the Mark V action you could load them alot longer
