What is the minimal case neck thickness on 300 Win Mag brass? I have never turned the necks on any brass, but most of my brass has very inconsistent neck thickness. Some of the brass has as little as .009 thickness, but measuring the far side of the neck I have as much as .016. When shooting at the range i'm starting to get more flyers then I would like to.

My brass averages .012", I don't neck turn, my chamber isn't tight enough to bother.
I actually find my brass is pretty consistent across Rem and Nosler brass. I must admit I don't check it often other than when I'm working out what size bushing to use when it's new.

I realise this may cause inconsistent neck tension, but I doubt it would effect groups by throwing in a flier, it may be a rifle issue, such as a walking barrel due to inconsistent heat treating, this is common in factory barrels.
Cheers.
