I'd try the 220 speer flat point; mid south and midway both have them in stock at present. I'm loading my ruger 35whelen with these using a wlr and rl15 and I'm at 2700 fps and moa to 200 yards so far. I'd sell ya some but I need a box or two rather soon myself.

thanks lefty, only thing i have left in powder is imr 4064 and 4350. do you think either will work in a custom 35 whelen? i don't know much about 35 caliber. i like you like the stw's.

4064 will work, 4350 will be a bit slow. I was pitching some 200 hornady tipped pills with I4895 in my rifle the other day- it doesn't really like them that well though.
