This is my new 338 Lapua AI with a 40 deg shoulder. Here are the specs:

Aztek Arms T-338 action
McMillan A5 pillar bedded
Schneider 30 inch heavy palma barrel 1 in 9 twist.
Aztek Arms bottom metal
Accurate Mag 5 round magazine
Shilen trigger
50 MOA rail
NF ATACR with MOAR.
Weight is just over 16 lbs.

After load work up I'm getting 3050 fps with 106.5 grains Reloader 33. Extreme velocity spread was 10 fps. Just in time for elk season :)

That kinda reminds me of the Borden actions. Good looking rig for sure. How does the Imp. round mag feed? Which bullet?

Dern fine looking rig for sure.

It is a nice action. It has an integral recoil lug and has a nice extractor. It feeds great, no problems. I'm shooting 300 gr SMK's loaded .005 off the lands. OAL is 3.725. The mag length is 3.75 so they do fit ok. My scope has 132 MOA of travel and I still have 12 MOA left of down when I zero it at 100 with the 50 MOA rail. It gives me enough adjustment to dial to around 2900 yards depending on the baro pressure. It should go subsonic at around 2450 yards though. I just got a Terrapin yesterday and can't wait to get out and stretch it out.

Very Nice.

If you do get to rock that pig over 2k yds, I sure hope you share it with us!!

I will. I had my 338 edge to 2000 all the time. If you get on youtube and search 338 edge 2000 you'll see a video I took of it. I sold that rifle to build this one. This one should give me another 300 or so yards over the edge before going subsonic.

Wow, what a sweet rig! That is impressive to use a 50 moa base and still be able to zero at 100 yards with moa to spare! Well thought out set up. Portable yet enough horsepower to cleanly take game to well over a mile. Man, I'm speechless.
