Hello , I'm new to Long range shooting but will the Leica 1600-B Using its ballistic program tell you which mil-dot too use for hold over and has anyone used it yet and how does it work ? Thanks

I use a 1600B but not the pre set ballistic curves. In the US set nothing was close enough to the load I use so just use the Lecia for ranging and degree of slope. Once you know the ballistic curve of the load you are using then you can see if any of the pre set EU curves fit close enough for you to use.

Thanks for your reply . I was just wondering if i do use the ballistic that it has . Will it tell you in mil-dots what the hold over is . Like 2 1/2 mil-dots . ETC Thanks

Basically the answer is no. If using the EU system the holdover is in centimeters. Using the US system the holdovers are in inches.
