SOLD/EXPIRED WTB Winchester model 88 Late Model

I need a stock for a model 88 Wichester. My grandmas stock broke and I want to help her out and get it back to her before hunting season. I would like just the stock, but would buy the whole rifle if need be. This rifle is worth a lot more then money to her she has had it for 40+ years and killed many animals with it. I would consider any caliber.

How close is the Model 100, its been awhile since I had my hands on an 88. I have a 100 I'm changing stocks on. MPI has a synthetic replacement if you can't find a suitable donor.

I don't know about the Model 100 I have never seen one. I looked at the MPI, but your talking $700+ to get a finished one.

Its been a bit since I checked the MPI I didn't realize they had gone up that much. Hope you get it lined out for her good luck.

Yeah me too. Starting to look around at custom wood stocks. Anyone know a good place?
