I'll let you decide what are good actions:D.

But Sako, Savage and Tikka all have tang safeties that I can think of right off.

Browning is your choice if a tang safety that can handle the stw easily is on the menu. I've been thinking of doing one myself but the $ haven't been allocated yet. Get either a 300 rum or 375 h@h mag and a browning a-bolt II 7 mag and have it re-chambered/stamped.

I love my 700's, A-Bolt II's, and Weatherby Mark V's.

If you want tang safety, the old Ruger 77 Mark II stainless actions are nice.

Your will have more options with a build on a Savage action (tang safety), than all others combined.
Please elaborate this statement.....And please tell me this is opinion, since I know it is not fact. The Remington 700 has more accessories and aftermarket parts than the Savage ever thought about.

I am not downing the Savage, I am just wondering how you came to your conclusion....

Sir, I believe it IS fact when it comes to tang safety sytled actions. The Remington 700, being the most easily accesorized bolt action rifle ever made, does not have a tang safety. Leave it to me to stir up the experts with my 1st ever post.

In the tang safety market, you are probably correct. I figured you were talking in general....My apologies, it has been a VERY VERY bad week...

Nah, no sense in puttin my problems out there, and boring yall with them. But the offer is appreciated.

I'll elaborate on 1 of the very many....You ever worked with someone so immature and obnoxious that played around so much, that you literally wanted to beat them into the concrete? I do... I almost....ALMOST.....Snapped this afternoon. I yelled, but that was it. I have disliked him since the day I met him...He is like the plague. He's too stupid to quit...

Anyway.....That's all for now. The others I don't need to discuss on here...They're business related.

looks like your week isn't any better than my fumble fingers... cripes, I even eyeballed that last post before I hit send and I still garfed it.

The job front isn't my first love either; any of the jobs I work, well, if it was a p.m. I'd elaborate but open forum I'll just say that 60-70 hours a week to keep the shingles over the top and I'm not living like a rockefeller.

I know what you mean. I'm pushin 50 hours a week on my main job, and it's already enough to get me stir-crazy. Especially having to deal with that ******* for 50 hours a week...

He came in earlier and smartassed me about something that happened yesterday after I snapped on him and yelled. He's borderline getting fired. I work for the family business and he has smartassed both my dad (owner/founder) and mom (co-owner). I've worked lots of different jobs over the years b/c I had no interest in the steel business, although I was a natural, since I had been around it and been fabricating for most of my life. But I have been here for the last 8 years now, and this guy has been working here for 1 year, and thinks he knows everything there is to know. He'll tell you how you SHOULD run your business. All kinds of smartass remarks towards us and our customers. He needs to go, but we can't afford to fire anyone right now since work has tripled over the last week...
