I am familiar with the offerings from Barnes bullets. Not extremely happy with the available BC's available. Does anybody know of a solid copper high BC offering? Something in 7mm cal? I tried the LRX. Had trouble with them not flying true. They are making oblong holes at 200yds. Stopped trying them after that. I have a 26" kreiger. 1in9 twist. Should be able to stabilize the LRX but it doesn't.
Thanks. Joe

Look at Cutting Edge bullets.

When I saw that the State Assembly passed AB 711, I figured it was inevitable that the Senate would as well so I started searching for something other than what Barnes has to offer. If you do a google search on this site, you can find a lot of good info about the CEB's. I'll be ordering some in the next couple of days and hopefully find some the work in my 7mm rem mag.

Thanks for the input.
I can't believe such a law is going to be implemented. I don't understand it at all. There are so many other environmental issues to be dealt with such as mass poaching for sport. I think more condors have been killed by direct lead poisoning than by ingesting lead.

The best preparation I can think of is a coordinated effort to expunge any elected officials that vote for stupid, non-science based lead bans.

If that fails - move! But don't move to NY where the libs are even worse.

I can! I used to live in CA (born in Coronado, San Diego; lived in Oxnard, Santa Barbara, Oakland, Fairfield, Victorville, etc ...) ... and it sucks then. I left in 1989 and never looked back. :D

The law is NOT about the enviroment, but a back door to stop hunting and firearms ownership in general. I moved out a few years ago. Will not be going back.

OP, I'm surprised the LRX doesn't stabilize in your 1-9, that makes it a PITA.

I'm one of the dudes on the Cutting Edge bandwagon , they're expensive but dern good bullets.

Here's some info for you:
