I'm looking to sell my New Ultra Light Arms model 28 300 win mag. The rifle was built by Melvin Forbes in 2012 and I received it last June. I used it a couple of times at the range and on one hunting trip.

Douglas Barrel - 24 inch #2 stainless
Timmy trigger
Rifle weight is 5 and 3/4 pounds
Matte Black Cerakote finish
LOP 14''

Asking Price is $2500 shipped to your FFL. Price includes rings but the scope is not included.

I added a picture of the only marks that I can see on the rifle (a couple of scratches in the cerakote finish and one on the stock just in front of the scope).

How does it shoot?? As in, loads, accuracy, etc.

I have only fired factory ammo thru it. It worked very well with both Hornady 165 GMX and Barnes 180 ttsx. Both shot very well 1 inch or better. Basically I shot a couple of boxes to sight it in and then used it on one bear hunt. Point of impact was almost identical with either load.

I moved to CA last fall so I have only played with lead free factory ammo. Whomever purchases the rifle can take it to the range a couple of times and if they are not completely happy I will refund their money.

Probably less than a factory rifle unscoped. I have a 25 x 284 Ultra lite arms, gun, lupy 4.5x14 scope, bipods 7.5 lbs. Shoots sub moa, couldnt believe a Douglass barrel would shoot. Dont tell Melvin Forbes that he will get his feelings hurt.

My scale has it at 6 pounds 11 oz with rings and scope. I never weighted just the rifle but leupold list that scope at 13 oz. I assume the rings are a couple of oz so that would put the rifle around 5 pounds 12 oz.

I've got the same rifle in right hand with a number 3 brux barrel shoots bugholes !
