lol i knew they were high but i dont think i want one that bad! i think i will just stick to the browning ti seeing how i could get one much cheaper! but thanks for the bad news

guys.I hate to bring bad news again, but the Brownings are bringing pretty strong prices as well. There's one on Gunbroker in 300 WSM, but that seller is VERY optimistic with his price.
If you can live with a standard .270 or .30-06, I would give the Forbes 24B a strong look.

Agreed, I could definately build exactly what i want for that amount lol i sure would like to have one of the 700 ti's tho!

It's not really fair to rail on Popapi without knowing what his build entails. He's not trying to get $2,750 for a factory Ti and there are plenty of Remington 700 builds that sell in his price range.
Nothing wrong with a faux Ti, either. They're great rifles.
Don't know what the one guys Ti is, but point out one link where a factory Ti sold for 2500+
If there is or has been (probably) it's a real case of a fool and his money are soon parted.
You can buy a Ti custom action for 1400, custom barrel/stock and still come in under that price quoted above.

You can do a lot of things for $2,750. Pick the option that trips your trigger and enjoy the heck out of it. I just don't see the point in criticizing a guy's price for a custom rifle without knowing what the build entails.
You should look at the Savage Light Weight Hunter 11/111
I own one in a 7mm08 and it only weighs 5.5 lbs. And with Leupolds ultra light weight 3x9x40 which only weighs 8oz's my rifle comes in at a cool 6 lbs.
I know it's not a titanium but it sure is light and shoots groups I can cover with a dime at 100 yrds. The 270 weighs an even 6 lbs.
The 11/111 Light Weight really is a great rifle. I have never owned a Savage until last year, but I just might ad more to my collection.
Both deer I shot dropped in their tracks. That 7mm08 is a great round.
I'm going to take it to montana this year on an elk hunt.

We all need to line different things, but I throw up a little bit looking at Savages. Not complaining how they shoot though.
My Kimber 84l montana 280ai goes just a hair over 6.5 lbs. .6-1" groups for the most part. Have a faux ti 7mm-08 thats about the same weight. Cant see where 4 ounces less is worth a grand or more
