what type of plastic jag

I have a broken and stuck plastic jag in a rem 700 disassembled bolt. Does anyone know what type of plastic an Outers plastic jag is made of and what chemical/solvent would disolce/soften it enough to be able to remove it from the bolt??

I would think that any plastic that is used for a cleaning jag is going to be extremely chemical resistant.

What would be the point of a jag that strong chemicals would soften or melt.

Sorry about your problem. I'd think your solution will be mechanical vs. chemical.
