Howdy.
For sale---one lightweight custom 6.5-06, lefthanded.

Home Oregunsmithing website

--remington skeletonized 700 action, work done by Oregunsmithing
--Pendleton composite stock, Oregunsmithing
--26" pacnor barrel, number 3 contour, 1-8" twist
--Dlask muzzlebrake
--timney trigger set to about 12 ounces
--talley lightweight one piece 1" low rings
--cerakoted sniper grey

This build started life as a 280 ackley and was a oregunsmithing complete build. I did not like the short skinny barrel on it and rebarreled it last year to a 6.5-06. This work was all done by Pete Turner of Eagle, Idaho and it is a superb rifle. The way it sits in the photo with talley rings/mounts it weighs in at 6 pounds one ounce. Round count is at 70 and it is very accurate with 140 grain SST's over H4350 shooting several 3 shot groups in the .340 and .220 range. Great rifle for backpacking and she is a very easy shooter. Enclosed are some photos of the rifle, target and a success photo from last fall.
This is about a $3200 rifle and I have it for sale at $2000.00.

Thanks, Randy

I am not familiar with this type brake. What is the exact model (there are several on their web site) and how loud is it. (I have a VARIS that is not loud at all.)

Very nice rifle, if I had the money to do it, I would. I am interested in your stock. What model is it from Oregunsmithing?

It is their Rintex sporting rifle brake and I couldn't tell you how loud it is as I've never shot it without wearing earplugs. However, it doesn't seem like it is too loud and it works great for muzzle jump which is bascially why I had it installed.

That is a **** nice rifle sir! I have too many irons in the fire right now or I'd be on that like white on rice!

Back up for sale

BACK UP FOR SALE. Howdy once again. This rifle is back up for sale due to the "buyer" here on this forum seems to be a flake. First bad experience that I have had on this forum. (I will let Len know as he apparently has a history of this after reading some of his posts)
In any case, it is back on the market and needs a really good home.

Thanks,

Randy
