Went to my reloading supplier today. Bought new bullets, some more powder. And asked for winchester primers. The clerk looked at my bullets, got the primers and gave me a pack of 100. I said is there a limit on that. He said yes. But only from Winchester. You can buy as many CCI or federals as you want. I took the Winchester cause I didn't need that many. But in the future I will change. So my question, is anybody else having similar experiences.????

Not from the manufacturer but there are a lot of places that limit the amount of ammo you can buy. Care to share where you get your primers? :D

Sure, I don't mind. I bought these from Dong's in Tulsa. They are a little bit higher that the other places. But they have a big selection. Even in times like these. Unless of course you want more that 100 Winchester primers. :)

I've seen retailers put 500 to 1000 primer limits, but haven't heard of manufacturers doing it. That said, I haven't seen Win primers anywhere recently. I will be doing some development with Federals and CCIs this spring...

I came across one brick of CCI small rifles at a shop in N. Michigan and felt like I won the lottery. I was at Cabelas in Dundee yesterday and they had about a dozen, but nothing else other than 209s. Bet they are gone by now. Nutty.

The local Sportsmans Wharehouse gets it shipment of reloading supplies in every Wensday afternoon somewhere around three oclock. The line starts asembleing somwhere around noon and can last till closeing time. Quantities are limited and they may not even get what you are waiting in line for or sell out of them before your turn.....
I was in there on Friday and no primers,22lr or 223 ammo on the shelves at all! I spent my $50 dallar allowance on 500 9mm bullets this week:D
