I am looking at Rock River arms for a new coyote and groundhog gun. Any one who has one, I would appreciate any feedback on likes or dislikes. Also what is the best setup to get?

I have the Predator Pursuit, 18". I switched the round forearm to a Daniel Defence quad rail and replaced the butstock with a VLTOR colapsable stock. IMO, it has the best factory trigger available and is dead nut accurate. I like the 1-7 twist so I can shoot the heavier bullets.
Very well made and you won't be disapointed....finding one at a reasonable pricegun) might be a problem

Shot a RRA ATH (advanced tactical hunter) a while back. I agree the trigger is perfect. RRA makes an awesome rifle the only things I didn't love were that the comp was much louder than your standard flash hider and the forend, while really nice, is a little heavy IMO, I prefer lightweight rifles. I think the comp probably helps with quicker follow ups, but I never hunt with hearing protection and it left my head ringing. Anyway just my preference, I doubt you would be disappointed with any rock river.

Love my 16in coyote carbine. The hogue forearm sucks (troy 11in on the way) swapped the trigger for a JP Ent comp triger. Have ran the crap out of it without a hiccup. Yotes and gophers HATE this rifle.

I bought a Fred Eichler addition at the begining of this season and the dogs ha it! Killed a lot of them! Light, very easy to move with. But I hated the muzzle brake! That thing flat sucked and is not needed. Sure it kept the muzzle junp to **** near 0 but my ears also hated it! I am going to screw that thing off and add a suppresor this summer! All in all the rifle is very accurate and well built! Hand down my pick!

I have a RRA Predator Pursuit Upper (20") with a RRA lower that I had JP enterprises build out with their single stage trigger.

I put lots of Magpul goodies on it, and it has become one of the most fun rifles to shoot at Pdogs. It is close to the accuracy of my bolt guns, easily 1/2" at 100.

If you want a carry gun, a lighter weight rig would be good, stick with 18-20" barrels. The varmint rigs are nice bench guns, but heavy.

I built my AR off a Rock River Preadator Persuit barreled upper and love it. It holds consistent 1/2moa with 69g sierras. Only wish I didn't live in lead free zone because it doesn't matter what load I try the groups open up.

I've had my Rock River EOP since 2006 and it has always functioned without a single problem....even super hot dusty days on eastern montana praire dog towns, when an average day is 300+ rounds without cleaning it, it never fails to send a round downrange. Its a bit heavy to walk very far with it cause I have the 24" SS bull barrel but its super accurate, loves just about every ammo I feed it. Rock River's stock two stage trigger is totally worth it in case you are considering the option.

Rock River 24 ss heavy barrel stock gun except jewel trigger i shoot 60 gr. Sierra H.P. out of it shoots one hole groups at 100 yds. If you would like to shoot it you can. I to live near Pitts. let me know 6x25x Millett scope helps also, can't hit what you can't see.
thanks

I have a RRA Varmint. 20" barrel, Jewell trigger, Magpul PRS stock, Carl Zeiss Conquest 6.5-20x50 Here is a 5 shot group at 100 yards. This is normal...

I have a RRA 20" Predator Pursuit with a PRS. I LOVE THIS RIFLE!!! If it will fit in the magazine, my rifle will stack'em where I point 'em. 53 grain vmax for ground rats and 75 grain BTHP for coyotes. From a bag and bipod shooting off a bench I can empty a 20 round pmag (in California thats two 10 round pmags) into a 1 inch circle.

I've been looking at RR in an ar-10 in 260, any feedback on these, thinking 18" barrel. Maybe no muzzle break or one not too loud. I don't really want to wear ear protection in the field.

I have a 20" and a 24" heavy stainless upper . one PSA lower and one RRA lower. A2 stocks on both and RRA lpk's with the 2 stage trigger and I'm extremely happy with both. great rifles for the money.

Hate to say it, but with most breaks- the better they work, the louder they are. A good one will be louder than is good for your ears. Thread-on muzzle brake for paper, unscrew it and slap on a thread protector in the field, best o' both worlds. Or you could look into suppressors, buts that's a whole new can of worms.
