Looking for a good deal on a quality lefthanded bow. I'm not looking for a super trick highend bow, or a cheap junky one either. Just a good quality bow in good condition. I'm not exactly sure what draw length I need (new to bow hunting), but I'm 6'2" with kinda long arms. Lemme know what ya got.
Thanx,
Cody

Re: WTB Lefthanded bow

If you are still looking, I have a Mathews Switchback in left hand, with sight, drop away rest, peep, kisser, new string, limb savers and some other extras. Bow was $1200 to set up, will sell for $450. I can send you pictures if you have any interest. Draw length is 28" but you can adjust with shooting loop, and weight is 60# to 75#. Currently set at 72#

6'2 and 28" draw will NOT work. Adjust the draw length using the D-loop? Im sorry but that is not ok. The D-loop should be as small as possible. Not sure if ur new at archery but whoever told you that is COMPLETELY wrong.

Re: WTB Lefthanded bow

MX, it can work or if need be he could replace the cam. Are you interested? If not, keep your two cents to yourself.

Re: WTB Lefthanded bow

ThreeJones: I am 6 foot and I shoot a 28" left handed and a 27.5 right handed. Not sure what your current draw length is, but while height has something to do with it, comfort, fit and body posture account for proper fit as well, as does length of your release. If you have any interest let me know.

In a Overpriced overmarketed mathews slowbowcam? NEVER!
I am interested in getting people the right info: to get your proper draw length measure ur wingspan, (fingertip to finger tip) subtact 15 and divide by 2. That will get you REALLY REALLY close. At full draw, nock straight below ur eye, head straight not even know ur looking through ur peep and string slightly touching the end of ur nose. (Not the side) if you have to lean or shorten everything up at full draw to touch ur nose on the string the draw length is too short.
If u dont want people to add their .2 then post proper info. Thanks have a good 1.

MX .2 is twenty cents. I said two cents. Get your information right and quit stomping on this guys post. Learn manners or stay off the site.
If you want to discuss something with someone in the future, PM them if you are not involved with the post. You are not selling, you are not buying, so you have need need to post.

ThreeJones. I am sorry for all this mess on your post. That is what you get with Junior members.

Well i add alittle more then two cents. I maybe a jr member on this site but im not no rookie archer. Maybe you should get your info right on the op's topic and quit acting like ur the good guy trying to help his post. All ur doing is giving him false information trying to sell ur Slowbow. I told him how to check his draw length instead of b/s about if its short u can make the D-loop huge to add draw length.

Re: WTB Lefthanded bow

No worries guys, you're both just trying to help. It's giving me free bumps up, so I'm not complaining. Just so we all know, before I make any decision, I'm going into a local Archery range to get propperly checked for draw length. I think I'll give it till after this weekend before I pull the trigger on a bow. Thanx again for all the offers and advise, keep em coming.
