I have a rem 700 300 win mag and had the action and barrel trued. Now when the gun smith screwed the barrel on it wasn't timed. The words remington 300 win mag are on the right side upside down. Twist the barrel clockwise 90 degrees and it would be right. Would this cause spin drift? Or is there no affect. Thank you.

Sounds like it was set back about 1/2 thread. As long as the head space is OK, you're good to go.

He should have set it back one full thread (1/16th on the Remington) and the logo would have
been in the right place.

There should be no effect except for the change in harmonics (Could change your load accuracy)

Thank you for your replies. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't going to work against me in long shots out past 1 k.
