Alot of people are not buying into Obamas reason for the so called "need to ban Military style rifles" . The Democrats are saying we have had enough of blood shed from these military style rifles and the recent trajedy at newtown Conneticut has been there center point to call for a Gun Ban . I do not believe for one second that the Democrats care for the loss of life ! Why you might ask would I be willing to make such a statement . Well, how many people or kids do you think an AR stye rifle has killed in America ? Now ask your self. How many MILLIONS OF INNOCENT BABIES have been murdered by Abortion (murder) ? I find it disturbing that they can use 20 kids that was murdered to push their agenda. All the while they back Abortion (murder) . Now you may say I have over stepped the line with my comments but by my comments I believe I have drawn a pretty good argument that this Gun Ban is not at all about saving lives . Think about it ...

Obama doesn't give a **** about children or the unborn -all he cares about is power, thats all any of them want, more power, lots of power.

Any one else find it odd that at the same time Obama is trying to disarm Americans he is sending 16 F-16's and 200 Abrams tanks to Egypt which today is basicly run by the Muslim Brotherhood? Or that he is more worried about Americans being armed than Iran having nukes?
 
Of course not and you know and we know it. Problem is, the general public don't (know it). They know what the media tells them and impartial journalism went out the window years ago.

Besides, an AR wasn't used at Sandy Hook and the LE finally admitted that, finally. I knew that 3 days after. You can't fit a bottleneck cartridge in a straightwall (pistol) chamber, not the chambers that were in the pistols used at Sandy Hook at least.

This is all about and will always be about mitigating the Constitution for Obama's advancement of a Socialst Government. Thats it. No more, no less.

If Obama don't get it through the front door (Feinstein, Cumo & Company), He will use the back door (UN Arms inititative). That SOB has to go.

I have used that argument with several different liberals that I debated with online over the past week. They don't have an comeback for it, but unfortunately Flip is completely right. It is all about power, and forcing socialism/communism even further down our throats. It's not about gun control, it is very plainly about control. Why else would he vilify us, the law abiding, gun owning public and blame us (roundabout) for something that none of us would ever consider, much less do. The SOB is just trying to push his agenda through, plain and simple. Without the guns he is then more or less free to do as he pleases.
 
Obamma works on his own agenda, some times I wonder just what it might be. He's been backed by the Chinese, by the power elite. He burned the Chinese with his recent actions in the Mid east, and he's got the power elite severly ****ed off now. They just want his @$$ gone. I do know this his agenda is not good for U.S.
 
This gun control push was always going to happen and always going to happen right after reelection. This was planned before he was elected the first time. They knew they would never get elected if they said so in the campaign and his lack of open and admitted movement on the subject during the first term was part of the reelection strategy because they knew they would never get elected if they said so. Nothing to do with any shooting. Not targeted to effect any shooting or would have effected any shooting. All part of the plan.

I remember the first campaign . Obama got on TV and said " The Obama Administration is not going to take away your guns " Yea right !

The administration isn't (going to take them away), it's the leftist idiots that make up the administration that will if they can.

Keep in mind that this administration has deliberately stacked the deck in it's favor though the use of that universal lubricant....MONEY. They have jacked the deficit to unsustainable levels through reckless spending but more importantly, increased entitlement and those on entitlement (free cheese), will side with the money provider because they don't want to loose the free cheese (even though eventually they will), because the free cheese is unsustainable as well.

What really irks me (as a farmer) is that all the entitlement is carefully rolled into the Farm Bill.

Obama and his handlers aren't stupid. Cunning is the correct word.

You are very correct. There was just one little blerp I read where the day after he was re-elected he started the ball rolling again on the UN Arms deal that the NRA stopped last year. He said he wanted it "DONE"in 2013. This was long before the kids shooting. This is a major deal, far worse than what we are seeing. They have kept that out of the news after the school shooting, because they are fanning the flames with that while it is hot so to speak.
I found the FBI stats for "2011" there was 12,664 homicides by guns. 6,220 were with pistols 6,121 by shotguns, knives,clubs, fist or hammers etc. only 323 with any sort of rifle and caliber, the kicker is there was only 2.3% of the 323 that were with a AR type rifle. It did say if you deducted the number of suicides the total number would be way less but the number wasn't given, only that it would be way less.
So what is his agenda with the AR's other than hysterical BullShitzzz. It's because it is a good starting place for him because the media and him have decide the AR's are evil.!! They have convinced the people they are used for nothing but war and cannot possible used for hunting or match shooting or enjoyment. Besides they say they are extremely powerful and pistol grips that are known to make them more deadly and should be banned along with anything that has more than a 10 round clip or magazine. But if you live in New York it is only 8 rounds, and if you are caught there with a 10 round clip or magazine and a biggie coke your going straight to prison son..!!
He's has started across the country preaching his agenda today and they are drinking the cool aid in mass!! If we do not write or call all our politicians or join the NRA or some other organizations to get our voice heard we are lost.
We have now got to the place where a 5 year old kid pointing a finger and saying pow is a serious offense. Or a 6 year old girl with a blank torn piece of paper that resembles the shape of a pistol gets suspended just for having it. Then there is the guy in high school that had a flag and a picture of a gun on his desk top of his lap top and he is suspended. I'm no young man and I can truthfully say I could never ever imagine a kid getting in trouble for these things. It is a sick minded person to punish a kid for these things.
What is really bad, those who did the punishing are for sure the ones drinking the cool aid and unfortunately they have our kids all day to drive home their agenda to them.
