While I have seen some really cool paint jobs, most of the owners regret it (unless they really like painting stuff) I wouldn't paint em snow, unless you plan to paint em twice a year, or only use em durring one season. I wrap mine in CoFlex (also called Vet wrap) it sticks only to itself, it's $3 a roll, doesn't leave any residue, makes the rifle super grippy, quites accidental metal on metal noises when yote hunting, and is warmer to the touch than metal or plastic. It comes in white, or a white with a zebra ish pattern that I like as well. I'll post a pic later, if I can find my stupid camera.
I have a Christensen Arms CA-15 Recon dipped in Kings Snow Shadow finish. It looks pretty tough and shoots even better. I will go out to the shop right now and take a pic of it and see if I can figure out how to post the pic. Brand new to this site, so it may take me a few minutes...wait for it...wait for it...

Nice work, how tough is the process? I've got an older 870 that could use a little help, thought I might try a dip instead of painting this one.
3jones, I wish I could take credit for that, but no can do. I ordered the rifle in that finish right from Christensen Arms. It is my coyote/fox calling rifle. I used to lug around my 22-250 Rem Laminated Varmint special but the rifle weighs about 12 lbs, maybe even a bit more with the 6.5 - 20 luepold scope.
tried to come up with a way to take a lighter gun when carrying the caller and this fit the bill, especially since I can take a full box of shells in the magazine instead of having a box in my pocket. works well, shoots great, and lighter for those deep wisconsin snows.
