Over the winter and early spring I purchased a Weatherby Vanguard Synthetic in .308. I decided that I wanted to make it a budget long-range project, and I bought an EGW 20 MOA rail, Millett TRS-1 scope, Millett rings, and a Boyds pepper laminate stock. I also bought a Blackhawk! cheek pad so that my line of sight is in line with the scope. I pillar bedded and glass bedded the rifle using Score High's bedding pillar kit and Pro-Bed 2000 kit. This was my first ever bedding attempt and here's the final outcome:

I'll be taking it to the range on Friday and sighting it in. Any guesses on how well it will shoot?

So, what were the results?

Well I finally got it sighted in at 200 yards, but I didn't have time to put a group together. From what it looks like, I think it should be a 1/2 minute of angle shooter if I'm up to the task.

Hopefully I can put a group together this spring, when I have a break from school.

Sorry for the double post, but I actually changed my setup a little, too. I got Burris 30mm low rings, and I added the cheek rest:
