It cant happen in America right...

Could it happen here? It would be foolish to think it COULDN'T. The next couple weeks will see a whirlwind of new gun legislation being introduced. We all know the usual suspects. The one to pay attention to is Feinstein's bill. If it doesn't see the light of day, there's hope. I'm thinking there will be several politicians that sign on though, and in the end, we will see exactly how close we have come to the confiscation scheme.

Feinstein's bill would eliminate the manufacture of a lot of popular firearms, and force registration on those in private hands, also making them non-transferable. That means confiscation in the end, but the government is also not very patient. Once they have the names of the owners, it's easy to go collect them.

I remember when they said Government run health care wouldn't happen in America. If we are not vigilant, this won't be America any more! This socialist running our country plans on using the same misleading tactics for gun control that were used to ram health care through. I can't believe how many people in our country believe his BS!
 
if we dont become a unified mindset there are enough forces at work to make this hapen. everyone on this and all related forms needs to write your reprentatives and senators. most of the indiviuals that are supporting these measures have 2 if not more yrs on their elected terms. we need to make this a short but loud battle they wont forget. take america back from the fools some of us placed in office. guns are only a tool, the same as a steel bar a hammer or a bat. the mindset that uses that tool makes it a weapon.
 
Seems VP Biden is getting lots of ideas from mayor Bloomberg and undoubtedly Ramond Kelly on "common sense" laws to push. The AWB is of course going to be pushed, but also universal backround checks and tracking the movement and sales of firearms. You know what that means........registration. You can bet that the first order of business would be to confiscate all 4473's from the dealers to begin the database. It's going to be a bumpy ride for the next year.

I really hope Mr Boehner keeps this stuff off the floor.
 
Seem like somethin like this would require 3/4 of the states to ratify and we all know what the Washington elitists think of the Constitution......crazy times were livin in.
 
The the good thing is EOs can be undone buy the next President. If Obummer goes that route you can **** sure bet all the dems in Washington are introuble......bad part is that dont mean squatt in the here and now.
