Drop data adjustments?

With a perfect 200 yard zero, the ballistic calculator data I got was dead on at 425 yards, but 6.2" high at 800 yards. Should I check to find out if the scope clicks are accurate, or just adjust the BC and/or velocity to make the drop data fit?
I've tried adjusting the velocity in the program, and then tried adjusting the BC to make the 800 yard data correct, but with either of those, the 425 yards data changes, when its already correct.

How many shots fired at each distance?

It is always better to get the farthest distances adjusted to as close as you can get. The 3/4 moa you were high at 800 would only be 3" at 400.

4 shots at each distance. There was less than 1" vertical between highest and lowest at 425, and 2" between highest and lowest at 800, and I took the average of all 4 at each distance.

Yeah you should have all the mechanical stuff right with the rifle and the scope first then fool with the BC/Velocity.

Good! What scope? and what program you using?

I agree with kcebcj, need to check the scope out next. Shooter and AB will allow you to tune the scope travel too.

Scope is the Huskemaw 5-20 x 50, and since their ballistic calculator is not working, I plugged in the info into the Gseven website calculator. I guess my next step is to set up a yard stick at 100 yds and figure out a way to hold the gun solid while cranking in 60 clicks to find out what the actual travel per click is.
