Had Travis at R.Bros. build me a 7mmWSM this year. The gun is beautiful and shoots great. Felt I should do a quick review. I had some problems with getting the accuracy with my reloads that I wanted, and Travis helped a lot. I must say that I am a Hunter, not a long range target shooter. Many can outshoot me at longer ranges, but I am working on that.

First victim did not do this rifle justice. Short 130 yard shot with pin point accuracy.

Second victim – Cow elk at 531 yards

The 168 gr Bergers really did a great job too. Both were one shot kills.
Well, can not seem to get the pictures to post in the right spot, but at least they are in order.

Thanks
Bill

Nice rifle!!! I have one of these rifles built by Travis and it shoots awesome! Please post your rifle specs, load you used to take the game, fps, etc!

Thanks for sharing the photo's

I agree as well. I have a RBROS 7 Rem Mag. The rifle shoots amazing and Travis was super to work with. The guy will answer any question you have and really tries to do anything to make sure you are happy with the build he delivers to you. Everything he promised on my build he delivered. Im running norma brass , has to be neck turned, and using 71.5 grains of retumbo with 180 bergers getting 3050 fps in a 26" rock creek barrel

Very nice! Looks like the rifle is behaving well and doing its job. If its alright with you, I would like to put those pics up on the new website that is coming out in a week or so.

That is a very nice looking stick, I'm digging the pic of the rifle sitting on your pack. Great scenery! Looks like a serious hammer as well. Well done & good shooting.

Thanks everyone, one of the best investments in hunting gear I ever made. I am looking forware to finding a place to pratice 1000yards to 1200 yards. Travis, you are welcome to use the pictures. I can e-mail you them and some more if you like.

Great pictures! You could pay a lot of money and not get an ad this good.

Here is a photo of my 7WSM that was built by Travis. Antelope and two groups shot at 100 yards. Travis builds an accurate rifle!

Could we get a break down of build components and barrel contour from the OP, really dig that rifle and most of the rifles RBros turns out!!

Thanks for the coments everyone. I know this rifle can out-shoot my ability. Looking forward to improving my skills. Right now all I have been shooting is the Berger 168 gr VLD with a healthy load of H4381sc. I want to try the 180's, but presently do not have the time to experiment. Here are the specs.

7mm WSM - R. Bros
R Bros Rogue Short Action, Hunter Port, Fluted Bolt
Broughton 1-9 twist, 5.75 Contour, Fluted, 26"
McMillan HTG Stock (per specs below)
13.5" LOP
Swirly - 60% olive drab, 30% tan, 10% Black
2 forward sling studs, one rear stud
Decelerator pad
Thumb wheel adjustable cheek piece
Textured fore end and pistol grip
BDL Floor plate
Jewell Trigger 1.5lbs
20 MOA Rail
Pillar Bedding
OD Green Gun Kote metal
Nightforce NXS 5.5 - 22 x 56mm
NP-R1 Reticle
Zero-stop

Weighs about 14.5 lbs field ready. In the Eberlestock X3 lo drag or gunslinger packs you really don't notice the weight. Until you strap on 45 lbs of meat to a pack that weighs about 35 to 40 lbs without the Rifle.:)

Thanks again Travis

Thanks
Bill
