New AR-10 that stared life as a #012 ASI/Armalite Long Range rifle, as seen on Accuracy Systems Inc. website, with a heavy Ultra Match stainless steel premium 22 inch air-gauge barrel, with a 1X12 twist and .308 Match chamber. It comes with a Magpul PRS adjustable buttstock and Badger Ordnance free-floating handguard. The cost is $2800 plus FET and shipping, add another $350, for a total of $3150. The rifle then had the following added: single stage match trigger set at 2.5 lbs., PSG-1 type pistol grip, titanium firing pin, Magpul trigger guard, Rock River Arms Low Profile gas block, Armalite 30MM mount and rings, Endine AR-Restor, JP Enterprise muzzle break (this is removable), Phase 5 Tactical Ambi Charging Handle latch and a Harris S-LM bipod with a Pod-Loc installed. Also comes with one used Gen I 10 round magazine, three new Gen II 10 round magazines and two new Gen II 20 round magazines. The rifle has only been fired to break in the barrel as Accuracy Systems Inc. requires and then cleaned a put away. Current price to order and modify is over $3500. Will sacrifice at $2800.00 (cash price with no trades) and I will pay shipping. Must ship to an FFL.

The buyer of the rifle may also purchase the scope shown with the rifle. The scope is a US Optics ST-10 with ERGO upgrade, 44 MM Low Profile Objective, #1 ¼ MOA elevation and windage knobs, 30 MM tube, black matte finish, older style Mil Dot reticle with height calibrations in it (no longer made), 11 position rheostat (red) upgrade, Low Profile eyepiece with rapid focus, 4 inch sunshade, Butler Creek caps, original box and instructions. Current price to order, with shipping, is $1500. I will sell with rifle for an additional $1000.00. (The scope will not be sold separately unless the rifle sells first)

You can buy the whole setup for $3800. It is a great deal for someone looking for a new rifle.

The company info says 1/2 MOA. I have never shot it for groups so I cannot tell you how this one does. All that I have seen in the past are 1/2 MOA or better with the correct ammo.

I got a DPMS LR 308 with an 18" barrel and without tricking it out, like this one is.
I can cover 3 bullet holes with a dime at 100 yds. Its badarss accurate. I shot those group when the rifle was locked in a led sled. gun)

@ HunterBob. So is what you are saying, is that someone could save some cash by purchasing a rifle like yours, instead of this one? What do you have "into" yours? Dime size groups are good enough for me! gun):D

Well, mine is the LR 308 16 or 18" barrel, not sure on length; with collapsible stock and came plain with no sites, just a flat top and no front sight. I'm retired so not much money. I put a Kruger TacDriver scope on it and its good for a 100yds .. I just put a BSA 4 to 12 X and I like it better, because of the magnification now, and will let me shoot further out now.
I think it cost me $1200.00 + for the gun + $150.00 for the scope. I found it was hard to carry it hunting though. (I'm 65) So I got a little swivel that they make and installed it behind the pistol grip. I got a one point sling and I think its great now. I can shoulder it faster than my Savage 110,and the stock makes it nice, because with a heavy jacket I can adjust the stock to fit. The only problem is the trigger is a little harsh, but I got used to it now. I love this rifle just the way it is.:) If I had the money I would love to have that other rifle though. $$$$$$

Congratulations for taking a complete **** all over this guys thread.

Intended or not...BAD FORM.

Thanks c_bass16. Some peoples kids! People do not understand that you can buy a factory built rifle and it may shoot, but a custom one is sure to shoot or you money back!

Jerry

Well it was not intended for me to do that as you pointed out.
I would love to have that customized rifle if I could afford it, he put a lot of time and money into it. I'm saying its well worth the money. If I offended anyone especially the guys thread , please ask an administrator to remove this post and my apologies , Please. No need for any more contempt on this issue.

Understood and thank you. Just sometimes people love to tear ads apart for no reason. Just spite. Glad you are not one of them hunterbob.

Thx Jerry,
I bet if you put that rifle in a lead sled it would shoot through the same hole at 200 yards, especially with that barrel you have on it. I love the set-up you got.
I never realized how expensive all the upgrades were, until I bought one of these rifles. I couldn't sell it if it was mine. Take my wife first.:)

Bob

I do understand the wife thing, so now I do not have one! I built the rifle for Nome, Alaska, and then got moved to Juneau, Alaska. As this is a rainforest, rather than Nome's tundra, shots here are limited by trees and mountains. Only selling because the range in Juneau only goes to 400 yards and you cannot shoot farther. Trying to sell so I can buy the GAP 300 WSM non-traditional for sale here on this site. Perfect for hunting here!

Jerry

I'm with Bob. There was no intended offense. You are going to guilt me into buying the gun for Gods Sakes!! My wife would surely use it on me.....If she could ever learn how to open my gun safe that is!!
