In need of scope info!!!

Ok, I know this will stir the pot.Building custom rifle in 300RUM, now my dilemna begins with GLASS!! Here are my choices;Nightforce,Huskemaw and high Leupold VX-3.. Want to hear some opions on my dilemna..lightbulblightbulb

Forget the Leupold. That glass is not even in the same class as NF. I have no experience with Huskemaw but will tell you that in my experience it is among the most controversial scopes out there. It seems to be either you love it or you don't. I don't like that when it comes to something so commonly used.

I ultimately chose not to go Huskemaw right now and got a Leica 3.5-14-42 with the G7 reticle and have NO REGRETS. Likely the best glass I've ever looked through in a scope.

NF is hard to beat, haven't heard much on the HUSKEMAW. How is the the glass and clarity on the LEICA?

When I was shopping for optics for an extreme long range rig I did a personal comparison between Leupold, Zeiss and NF.

To "my" eyes, which are pretty much unique to me , Zeiss conquest was 6 times better than the VX-III and the NXS was 2 times better than the Zeiss.

Thus on the ELR rig sits the NXS.

On the LR rig sits the Zeiss.

Both scopes serve me very well.

I strongly suggest a personal comparison.
