How'is the ELK looking in CO this year

Any reports on elk in COLORADO from the early hunts, black powder and ARCH'

looking esp around unit 24 flat tops area.kinda wondering how the drought messed this year up.i am going for oct 20.east marvin ,

Just did muzzleloader there, more bulls than I have ever seen(been hunting there over 25 years), almost every day....but I was hunting bucks, poor deer, deer moved down 3-4 thousand feet due to poor feed, but elk remained up high. I predict a good season for you!
