Do you use Vortex scopes on other rifles? how do they compare to the other big name scopes (clarity, tracking, function of A/O and positive turent click)

Did you remove the ejector due to the small receiver opening? or do you extract the bolt to remove the spent case.

Vortex Glass on all of my centerfires, I had a Nightforce BR 8-32x56mm on my 6.5x61Super, very nice, however the 1/8MOA clicks was way TOO MUCH when I shoot tactical course or take long shots on groundhogs!!

The Vortex Glass is very comparable albeit at a better price = $500 buys a lot of bullets, powder, and primers!!


ON empty brass I can eject as normal, the brass clears the ejection port no issues. Kind of amazing when you think I have a LONG ACTION cartridge in a super short action..The BENEFIT = the super short action of the WSSM is VERY VERY STIFF = accurate


My gunsmith helped collaborate on the 6.5x61Super build, I had Dave Kiff at PTG make me a custom 6.5x61Super reamer....if you are interested, I'll PM my gunsmith's name to you.

The rifle flat out shoots 1/4MOA out to 1,200 yards
