Thanks to Kirby for building a very special rifle for my daughter! This was for her 14th birthday, and a reward for a great season of competitive shooting.

Specs are:
APS Raptor action
Lilja #7 barrel 26"
3 port APS pain killer brake
McMillan A5 stock (in her chosen blue, green and brown mix)
Jewel trigger

As always the quality and workmanship from Kirby is flawless!

We have only had the opportunity to shoot it a few times, but all indications are that it is going to going to shoot as I have come to expect from Kirby...... awesome!

Thanks again Kirby for going the extra mile and building a special rifle for Elizabeth that she will cherish her entire life.

Thanks guys! Thanks Feenix.... I did not know I could rotate the pic once it was inserted, much better!

No adoptions are available at this time. With her competitive shooting and a younger brother about to get started, it is about to break me buying guns, bullets and coaching. I wouldn't have it any other way! I love watching my kids shoot!:D

RDM416 CONGRATS!!

Congrats on a great rifle and to you for starting out your daughter on shooting and to her for taking on shooting a gun like a 338LM, albeit a soft kicker from Kirby. You should be very proud of her! Way To Go!

Kids that Hunt Trap and Fish dont Mug Little Old Ladies! Teach em' young and teach em' fer life!

I already told Rick it's a humbling experience being jealous of a little girl, but what is even worse is being out shot by one. Pride.... Crushed!
She can and will put most of us to shame!
Behind every good shooter is an even better spotter. Good job dad!

Congratulations! Time spent in productive activities with loved ones is never ill spent. I am sure you are rightfully proud of your children. Keep up the good work and keep providing the top equipment (such as a fine rifle from APS) and they will go far. God Bless

Is that your back yard your shooting in ?

It was a pleasure and true honor to build this rifle for her. I hope she shoots several barrels out of that rifle!!!

As far as being out shot by a girl, never had a problem with that, when I got my wife into shooting, it was clear that if I did not pay attention she would out shoot me!!! I was not bothered at all, in fact I felt more pride then I ever expected. Which was the same when she shot her first big game animal and when she shot a bigger pronghorn they I had ever shot and then when she took the biggest Montana whitetail in the family.......

Can not wait to do the same with my little girl. She is just starting now but she shoots her 17 HMR pretty well already.

Lucky young lady! There are many grown men that could not afford a rig like that. Way to go dad spending the time and money developing your kids!
