I have to trade or sell........
F. Sarriugarte...imported by American Arms 10ga double 32" barrel, 3 1/2" chamber
Heavily engraved, very good condition
$800 or primarily looking for something in 45/70, maybe a lever action. Also looking for a Hi Lux Leatherwood M-1200 scope, might consider a M-1000
Also may consider other rifles, shotguns, or handguns in trade
Would like to trade or sell fairly local to central Minnesota but would ship to FFL

Best offer ?? ....... I recently found out that Sarriugarte marked their grade/model and serial# inside the "break" under the barrels
This one is marked "BEST"

man i would love to have that shotgun ! but all I have to trade is a winchester 30-30 early 1970 model and some cash.

Beautiful Shotgun. ANd I am close by as well. Unfortunately, not sure I have much to trade. I have been really right sizing my collection recently.

Might be able to give cash end of next month, but budget is full till then.

Used to have a older spanish made double that was used to shoot sea ducks here in NC. Heavy lead loads of #4 shot has take many a duck. But the ouch behind that thing after a box of shells finally made me go AUTO. Good luck with a fine looking piece.

Not to mention as the ducks come in and people shoot they go higher and higher...all it takes is double 10 AA to bring em down :D

Xring, have you found out much more about the double barrel? The reason I ask is I have the exact same gun and have thought about selling it, but it is hard to let "Ol Bessie" go as we have taken lots of game together.

The only reason I have thought of selling her was because of how much she weighs. Taking her for a long walk is not that much fun anymore, but shooting doves with her is a ball. I have actually used the bore mates so I can shoot 12 guage shells in her action and had lots of fun with dove and with clays.

Anyway, any more info you have on the gun would be apprecaited.

I have seen a couple that looked similar to the one I have but not the same.
I won't bother to go into the engraving differences, or some were 2 3/4", different barrel ramp and length The key thing is that....
If you break it open the barrels, underneath them on the action block you will find the serial number and if it is their premium gun it will be stamped with the word "BEST" next to the serial number
The only one like mine that I have seen was on Guns America a short while ago with a scratched up butt stock...the guy had $925 on it and it lasted 1 1/2 days....The more quality Spanish doubles have a pretty good cult following it seems and Sarriugarte was one of the few quality survivors of the many good and not so good Spanish manufacturers around in the late 70's and into the 80's
