here in effingham county
I have a spot on the river that I have permission to hunt and set my scopes
which is a blessing.
I have Muscular Dystrophy and limited in ground coverage.
What time, etc would be good for calling them in on the marshy
area.

have a a Hbar 223 1:7 20" barreled ar
also have a 7mm mauser and 17hmr bull barreled
and bull barreled 204

so can reach out and touch one, with a cpl rifles which one ?

Low light times would be best for calling in my experience, but have seen them respond mid-day in colder weather. As far as your rifles go I'd let the distance you maybe shooting determine it. If 150 yards or less and you're a great shot you could make head shots with the .17, but if you can shoot 150+ yards you might want something a little heavier. the .223 and 204 you described sound great.

I have made head shots at 300-500 yards
former USMC 0317
also made top gun at the police academy
head shots leave shorter blood trails :)lightbulb

Congratulations on the accomplishments. gun)

Early morning seems to work best for me. But it has been said that you can't shoot 'em from the porch. There is some truth to that. A bad day huntin' beats a good day workin' every time.
