.330-.277= .053... not bad considering i was 19 when i shot that! veloctities were :3387,3342,3396
this is the Bettin Custom Guns .270 WSM i have based off of a mauser action with a thumbwhole stock. pretty **** good i think! i love this rifle!

firstcoueswas80,
That's indeed a nice group! When shooting many groups, as general rule what would you say is the average group size for that particular gun using the same load? The reason I ask is because of the velocity spread of 54 f/s which at longer distances would hurt your shooting though it is possible to have a very tight group at shorter distances.
Good Shooting!

Love those short stubby wsm cartridges: what type of powder to get that ace group. very nice shooting

5 shots at 200m with my 300 win mag

a grouping i shot today at 200m - just over 23mm - 5 shots

This is the best group I've ever shot; 3 shots at 100 yards went into 0.042 inches. The problem is, as strange as it may seem, I could not consistently get that barrel to shoot better than 1 to 1.5 inches.

this why five shot groups are more of the standard nowdays.if your gun can accomplish this with 5 shots you really have something. i myself have shot multiple 3 shot groups just like this one, but try to squeeze 2 more in there and the group always opens up.

+1

i had a heck of a time this weekend tuning my 260. out of 6 groups i could easily get 3 in nearly the same hole but there were 2 that opened groups up to 1/2-5/8 inch every time. very frustrating....

using Varget didnt hurt either...:)
