Went to the pawn shop and lost my mind! Bought a Winchester push feed in 7mm WSM. Looks new and paid $250:) for it. Only one small problem , stock broken and magazine spring and follower are missing. Want to buy your wood / laminate factory take off stock and spring ,follower , and bottom metal. I know someone out there has it left over after you put on a tac. stock and box clip metal.

Great deal. Why can't I find something like that.

Gordon
It has been there over 4 years! Talked to owner three times over the years and today he says yes. I told him the truth afterwards...I was counting on him to say no! I didn't really have the money BUT....:D

Yep. That would be the place. You're in Jax then? I didn't have the money but it will be fun finding what I need.

Check over at Stocky's and or HS precision. I think HSP makes bottom metal etc for winchester as well as remingtons.

Stocky's has some decent laminated stocks for very reasonable prices.

I have a Houge stock w/ pillars if you want it, but no metal $100.00 shipped or a Walnut stock that is pillar bedded for $200.00 shipped. Both are for the WSM

If I go with a new stock it will be a Bell & Carlson ultralite from Stockys. Tan with black spiderweb. PTG has aluminum bottom metal. The only thing I have not found new is the wsm spring and follower. This is a sporter and I still hope to find a take off standard wood stock or even better a featherweight stock.. somebody has to have an old stock and metal left over from a long range stock and detachable magazine conversion. Its not like I need this rifle anytime soon. I got it to play with. I have got the trigger down to @ 2.5lbs from @ 8.5lbs. When I got it I thought the overtravel was set so you couldn't pull the trigger! It still has a tiny bit of creep but I will polish it out. Got to grind the top of the sear a couple more thousandth and still see a faint machine mark on the engagement. Its all fun to me. Don't have the money to buy all new now , so used is what I'm going for now.

Thanks for the lead on lee's. I tried to call but they were closed today. I will try again tomorrow.
