Hi, I could us some help, I shoot F-class 600 yards prone in my third year. Gun Winchester m70 Stealth ll 26" barrel 1:10. I just loaded a few 190 SMK in Lapua brass 42.3 IMR 4064 to get 2600fps and notice when I seat the 190's I hear the power crunch at the last second. Is this safe or normal? Thanks in advance:) Rick

In a word, yep.
It's mostly powder being forcibly realigned in the case, but a few are breaking. If your uniformity is good you aren't breaking enough grains for there to be a problem. The proof is in the pudding here; if it works, oh well.

question for ya.have you tried different ways to get the powder into the case.a drop tube will help out alot.or tapping the case slightly to push the powder in a little more.just something I do or use from time to time.

but yes to your answer as long as its not alot at one time.you didn't say what case your using either.win brass will hold more powder than most other brass brands out their.

Hi and thanks for the replies, I'm going to shoot this load this weekend..I'll keep you all posted on the results.gun)
