Go easy on the comments, our senior members are generally not smart a#$es or they wouldn't be here any more. He was simply trying to guide you toward the solid information you have already received. There was no way for any of us to know that the recommendations given weren't working out because you didn't allude to that upon opening this thread. I know what assumption does for a person, but that's how I took it as well.

There are a lot of good 'smiths out there who will be more than happy to discuss & help guide you through the decision making process. There is a company in CA called Tac Ops that may be able to help, although they do cater more toward the LE/Mil crowd, their work is fantastic.
