The difference between the 20s / 20 plate is thickness. The "S" is thiner 3/4 in. I think. The 20 is 1 in. thick.
Same goes for the 22S / 22 plate. Therefore all the above can be done with the 2 plates. The difference is plate thickness. To offset the thinner plates, you simply adjust the torch height.
