What powders and jacketed bullets do you have on hand? You'll get the best long range performance from a 7mm RM with heavier bullets of 160 grains and above and slow powders such as H4831, 7828, RL22, H1000, Retumbo, etc.

reloading with R-19. reloader 7, r-22\ bullets from 139 up to 164```

What jacketed bullets specifically do you have and what are your performance expectations, distance, velocity, terminal effectiveness, etc.?

want a flat shooting bullet that will drop a deer etc with no wounding, want a clean kill

What specific bullets do you have? ie: Hornady SST, Berger VLD, Nosler Accubond. We need to know specifics so that we can give you advice on what will make your 7mm RM perform to your expectations.

What range do you expect your rifle to perform while hunting?

I have a SS Stalker 26" (older model) that loves the Barnes 140TTSX over Retumbo. Sub-MOA rifle with this load and the 168 SMK over full case of 8700. Shoot the hearts out on deer at 400+ no problem w/140, haven't shot any animals with the 168...yet.

all of my shots will be under 150`it is almost impossible to see game here due to heavy woodlands

all I have now is hornady 140's

Shoot the 140's w H4831 or Rl-22. Heck IMR-4350 works too.
If it were me I would in dense woods shoot the 154 RN Honandy over H-1000. Just have to find the primer Rem 9 1/2m, fed 215.

I am well blessed with primers
have a large supply of each
