Hey all,
I know that Lapua has stopped making brass for this caliber, but I know it is still out there and very high quality. If anyone has any they want to sell or know where I can buy some from, please let me know. Also, I would even consider buying actual Lapua ammo, but I've found that is equally as difficult. I would appreciate any help/input anyone has to offer! Thanks!

Nobody I know would ever give any up, but RWS brass is a close second. :D

IMHO I would say Lapua is a close second :D:D:D:D

Depends on what you look at. I load both regularly. The case capacity is quite a bit less on the RWS and pressure shows up earlier due to this. Especially with the larger bullet offerings. They are both very tough brass and very good brass. But in some instances the Lapua will out preform the RWS in velocity. So, with the Lapua you can have both tough brass and the highest possible velocity for the load combination.

I just experienced that last week end loading 200gr NAB's in RWS brass with the bullets about 0.030" off the lands. Now I know why. Thank you.

As far as I know lapua never produced their own 300 win mag brass. They had norma run a batch for them with the lapua name on it. So if you want 300 win mag lapua brass just buy some norma brass ;)

This is true, but just like weatherby and norma brass I found the brass with weatherby head stamp to be tougher (harder) than the same brass with Norma headstamp. In comparing Norma and Lapua in 300 win I have found the Lapua to hold primer pockets tighter longer. So my personal opinion was that maybe Lapua and Wby had some involvement in the brass make up to their specs.?? Some may ague this and it is fine to believe what ever one wishes. I simply formed my own opinion and theory from using lots of this brass for many years.
