Question, does break come off to allow suppressor? Do you recall cost of work done by GAP. Barrel length with break. Do you have rings, thx

The Brakes is removable; the factory barrel length is 26". The threads match 5/8-24 and I use my Sandstorm on my other VSSF/308....just like this one. The rifle is too long for its factory packaging. The approxi cost cost of work approached 5-c notes including ship/ ins both ways when I had this done a few yrs back. The loopy QR rings can be included for extra 25 bucks........the brake adds a couple of inches to the overall length but not to the factory barrel length

Hey all you long range shooting guru's: QUIT emailing me and beating me up on this 'high priced' VSSF....you ain't gonna influence me and it obvious to me you have forgotten one thing that separates this older VSSF FROM the new models:

The new one's that I have seen on the auction sites provide you with a $80 stock this older VSSF has a $300++ HS Precision stock...

Sorry to hear what is going on. I have a 5R that I am upgrading. With the bolt work and the planned muzzle brake install, I will have over $300 plus shipping both ways (+$60) in the upgrade. I paid $950 for the rifle. Not sure on the cost of the side bolt release but you have a nice rifle. I also looked up the cost of the VSSF to compare. You are good to go. It is to bad I have three 308 rifles or I would try to talk you out of this one.

Regards

offers are sometimes where two fool ment, the one making the offer and the one turning it down!! Just sayin

Just foolin!! Love your rifle, but did find a HS Precision for $1250--just no stock or bottom metal so will have 2K in it before I fire a round, so maybe I'm the fool ???
