Hi guys. I'm looking at replacing my Leupold VXL 4.5-14x50 on my 25-06 with Swarovski Z5 5-25x52 with a BRX reticule. The rifle is used for both hunting where I use the holdover reticule and also in the local shoots where we shot fixed distances of 300m and 200m and would love to use the ballistic turret for this. My question however, can you buy the ballistic turret separately and install it onto the Z5? And if so where can I get hold of one of these ballistic turrets?
Thanks

A non-ballistic turret model can not be retrofitted after the fact. The link that is posted above is for the ballistic collet which is made by swarovski based on the information that you provide them. The collet slips over the existing ballistic turret.

It is the same type of thing that that Kenton Industries does for Zeiss on their target turret model rifle scopes.

Take a look at SportOptics and give them a call. They can answer any questions you have about Swarovski Optics.

I believe the models you would want to take a look at would be 59884 or 59880

I ordered the z5 5-25x52 with the BRH reticle just because my area of hunting sometimes requires me to pick the deer out of heavy brush & without the BRH reticle it would be very difficult to be able to put cross hairs on the animal. With that being said I love the BRH reticle, not to heavy but not to thin either & I can easily pick out the animal at long range while in the brush. I also spoke to swarovski & they told me that their ballistic turret can be added after the fact. I wanna say they told me $168 but I could be wrong, but I know it was under $200.00. I am a nikon fan myself & I think they offer awesome clarity with their scopes however in my opinion when you need something that can cover past 500-600 yards they can't come close to swarovski & the detail that swarovski picks up is amazing! Of course this is just my opinion using my eyes!
Good luck!

I was wrong they are doing it now. Call customer service at 800.426.3089

I've had it done before, it's $200 dollars takes 6-8 weeks and they only do it on plex reticles.
