Drop chart tape?

Just kind of curious what tape or method do you all use to put your drop charts on your stock. I currently use packing tape and it seems to work but I don't know how waterproof it is. Just wondering what everyone else does.

I use regular Scotch tape and cover the whole thing. Its only on there a month so works just fine. If left on longer it gets difficult to remove.

I load the drop chart data into Auto Cad then size the chart just large enough to read then print two or three copies. Ends up being about 1.25 X 4 inches. Three columns one Yardage, one MOA, and one MOA @ 30 degrees.

I cover mine..front and back...with that HD clear wrapping tape.. ( The kind you can use with a "tape gun" sort of thing.) VERY HD stuff....usually 2" wide but I trim it down to just barely cover my printed label. Rubber cement on ONE SURFACE ONLY and the paper label will stick right onto whatever surface you want.

I make various different cards and laminate them. On my main hunting rifles I run a stock pack and card is in there. I use my reticule for drops and have a sticker of that on scope. This is a variation,ballistic reticule and dial of last hash on my 223

I use the "print card" feature on JBM. Laminate with packing tape. I slide one card under the stock pack / ammo sleeve, one goes in the PDA case, and one gets taped to the rangefinder.

Given time, I use the PDA. Figure an "average" chart is good to 800 ish. Afterwards, I want the PDA. Inside 600, I don't need to look at a card, I know what they say. Seen 'em inside scope covers and on Leupolds retractable tape. Sometimes I make little turret wraps and just tape over them. Then I have BDC knobs and MOA knobs, no chart required.

3M/SCOTCH packing tape works great and lasts long and survies most weather. WHen you remove it use a little lighter fluid to get the tape residue off. Dont use the cheap crappy packing tape or youll get bubbles and it wont last long, use 3M. In fact we should all use American products as much as possible.
