Any body got a good 300wsm reamer and GO-gauge I could rent to chamber 1 rifle and send it back, dont really feel like spending 150 dollars just to do 1 rifle.

bamadawg, the cost of cutting tools and gauges is part of the cost of building a rifle. Try one of the tool rental companies, of course, you won't know how the reamer has been used in the past, whether it's been in a Black & Decker drill 3 times or whether its been used with care, as it should be. Personally, I won't use a rented reamer, just not willing to take a chance on what I might end up with!

+1

Reamers are Inexpensive and if you buy one it will be there if you ever re barrel your rifle and
cases and reloads will not change much.

I have heard of people renting reamers and getting something not SAMMI spec. (Tight neck,
no free bore ETC)

Also some have not been used with the proper lubricant and are dull or grooved and will not
produce a good chamber.

The price of a reamer is not much more than double the cost of a rental reamer.

Go with a new one !!!!

I agree go new too. You can always sell it afterwards and get back 1/2 to 2/3 of your money. The difference between that and renting one is insignificant.

Yeah I should have deleted the post, I got to thimking about it and ordered one from Brownells about an hour I after I posted the question.
