any homebrew trailcam guys?

I've drank a "homebrew" while checking a trailcam... but I suppose that's not what your looking for:D. Sorry, couldn't resist.

When You Mention Homebrew a few thoughts cross my mind.

Got to get the Drill and Grinder out to Grind Malted Barley
Make sure the Yest culture is running nice
Get the Lautter Tuns out
Make that Delicious Wert
Weigh the Hops (My Favorite Part)
ferment (Lager 3 months Ale 3 Weeks) and reload/shoot to pass time.
Drink the last batch of Homebrew :)

I built several when that craze first started. They were lots of fun. I think I made 4. Two were stolen, gave one to a friend in W Va and still have one. Have they kept getting better like the factory ones? Mine used a 35mm camera and you had to develop your film. But that was before any game cams were out there and it was great just to see what's out there. I ended up getting more bear than deer pics.

Sounds like your the kind of guy to hang out with on the hot summer days. Nothing like an ice cold drink.

They certainly have. Some guys have stayed ahead of commercial stuff. A guy built a 360 degree trail cam before the commercial folks did. They have some with remote sensing, remote flash, and remote IR arrays. Video units, day video/night photo, and vice versa. It has come a very long way. I've built upwards of 50 units, if you include the ones I put together for other people. I only own a couple dozen myself.

I am into them also. Just cannot find any online help for a lot of questions.

Does anyone have any experience using the GoPro hero2 HD camera or know of a web site or forum that modifies this camera to be motion triggered.

Interesting
