Was thinking about picking up a t3 in either 25-06, 308, 7mm-08,243 . I already have one in 270 wsm and love it. I was wondering what kinda accuracy do you guys get out too 500yards give or take . Would like a nice deer gun with light recoil. I see B&C has a new stock out for them anyone have one s.s info is it worth the money?

Did you use the google search in the top right corner of the screen?

I too have on in .270wsm, the laminate stainless. Awesome gun! I want to get another one for pack hunting, light weight rig. Just wish they would import some in a 6.5 configuration, that would be ideal. I know people have them in the swede but i cant find one :(

Yeah I hear ya.I just got my Cooper Phoenix in 6.5x284 . Not a light weight rig but think im going to love it. I want a 25-06 in t3 I think next just can't stop second guessing my self I love the 308 also

out of the calibers available I think id pick the 708. wide selection of bullets available, better ballistics than the ol' .308

I have a T3 stainless varmint in 708. I run two loads and both give an average of .4 moa. At 500 meters it still shoots half minute groups with only basic reloading efforts. I am definitely a Tikka fan, but don't really like those plastic stocks.

So I would say no you didnt use it.

Why does it matter if he did? Is not the purpose of a forum to foster discussion?

Anyway, OP I'm thinking like you. I just ordered one in 7mm-08 and plan on getting a B&C stock for it when it comes in!

It matters cause 100 of the same treads come up every day because people are to lazy to read anything before they ask a question. Your spot on about the purpse of the fourm but the sarch function is there for a reason.

I agree with you that the forum's purpose is to foster healthy discussions. However, that is what the search option is designed for - archive possible solutions to problems/questions.

There were many occasions (esp. when I was a noob) that I wanted to post a question but most of the time I find the answers I needed by taking advantage of the search function.

Sometimes because we are so excited to ask the question that we do not take the time to get find out what information are already available to us. The site is full of them.

ICANHITHIMMAN and most of the guys here are are always willing and able to help out, I see nothing wrong with recommending the search function. If you read his posts, you get to learn more about him, and like most guys here ... he's one of the good guys.

Be patient, be open, and enjoy!lightbulb

Thanks to everone that posted info. But I Find it funny you say im lazy because im New to this as far as posting and looking up info. I looked under the forum area didn't see anything about what i asked maybe I missed it .I am human and over look things time to time like everyone's...anyways thanks for all the info

Not disagreement from me about the search, and I am sure ICANHITHIMMAN is a good guy. He did recommend the search function in his first post. However, his second response is off-putting, not conducive to good discussion, or welcoming to new members.

OP, if you get ready to order please shoot me a PM. I know where you can get a deal.
